"Music plays a vital role at St. John's—enriching the spiritual life of the parish with joyful and beautiful sounds," says Music Director Frank Granger.

The Singers are an important part of the worship at Sunday 9:30 a.m. services. They are a warm and welcoming group. No auditions required—just a desire to sing from the heart, praise God with your voice, and be open to new musical experiences.

I will sing and make music to the Lord - Psalm 27

Pentecost Youth Orchestra

The organ at St. John's is located in the choir loft in the rear of the church. The loft, combined with the high ceiling barrel vault running the length of the nave, provides an excellent acoustical space for the resilient sound of organ and choral music. And our Organist, Ernie Adams, has been with us for many years.

These young people play during the 9:30 a.m. service on a Sunday early in Pentecost. Youngsters accompany the hymns with their violas, clarinets, flutes, trumpets, saxophones, and other instruments in an exciting event eagerly anticipated by the whole parish. Individually some of these youngsters accompany the choirs in various pieces on Sunday morning.
